We are seeking an experienced product manager to lead across our Revenues and Benefits family of products.
Our expert services and innovative technology transform revenues and benefits processes for local authorities, helping to deliver a better citizen experience.
Available as a choice of service delivery options, we collect, maximise and distribute local authority revenue, applying our benefits processing expertise to reduce fraud and ensure eligible claimants receive timely payments, whilst generating vital revenue for councils to invest in local services. What you'll be doing :
• Strategic Management: Develop and implement strategies for the product portfolio to ensure alignment with local government needs and Capita's business objectives.
• Product Development: Oversee the development of new products and enhancements to existing products to meet the evolving demands of the local government market.
• Revenue Maximisation: Focus on maximising revenue through effective product management, including pricing strategies and identifying new market opportunities.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, local government clients, and external partners to deliver products that align with user requirements and regulatory standards.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact the product portfolio.
• Financial Management: Manage the financial performance of the product portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality service delivery options are available, collecting and distributing local authority revenue efficiently.
What we're looking for:
• Proven experience in product management or within the local government.
• Deep understanding of local government operations, especially in revenue collection and benefits administration.
• Strong leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and drive product success.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to manage relationships with stakeholders and articulate product value propositions.
• Ability to analyse market data and financial information to make informed decisions.
• Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in service delivery.
• Ability to think creatively to leverage digital solutions for product enhancement and new service development.
• Proficiency in managing complex digital transformation projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to travel for client engagement.
