Main duties and responsibilities
The Graduate Teaching Fellow will support the provision of teaching, assessments and student support within Engineering at undergraduate and postgraduate level within the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Subject Group in the Department of Engineering. They will coordinate and lead practical sessions where appropriate, assist with coordination and preparation of module teaching and learning activities and contribute to personal tutorial and study support programmes. You will ensure accurate and correct completion of programme-related teaching and learning administration in full compliance with legal, professional and University requirements and assist with assessment of students, where appropriate, under the supervision of academic staff.

Skill and experience required
You will need experience of supporting learning and teaching or relevant activities in UK Higher Education settings and have an appropriate teaching ability and experience of digital and educational resources. You will demonstrable the ability to support students in TWO or more of the following areas:
• MATLAB
• VHDL
• Vivado
• MultiSim
• Design and Manufacturing of Analogue and/or Digital Electronic Circuits
• Electronic Circuits Design, Manufacture and Testing of PCB
in both teaching and practical activities within UK Higher Education settings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate efficiently in a variety of formats to different audiences as well as a methodical approach/attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure to tight deadlines are essential for this role.
Qualifications required
You will be educated with a minimum of a first degree (or equivalent qualification) in Electronic and Electrical Engineering or other cognate subject relevant to the discipline.
