We are looking for a HR Programme Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in the high and low level technical designs across this exciting new People Services Transformation project. About the role
First Bus is currently going through a big change in how it handles its employee services. This is part of a larger effort by FirstGroup. The goal is to fix the current technology setup, make processes simpler, and make things better for employees overall. The project includes getting a brand new & intuitive HRIS & Payroll system, improving how things are done, and offering services that are structured and shared. You will work closely with the Group Strategy and Architecture Director, as well as with other teams in IT and HR.
Role Responsibilities
As the HR Programme Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the technology solutions for the People Services Transformation project.. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
-You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and requirements for HRIS & Payroll system
-You will lead the design and provide strategic guidance in the design stages of the project
-You will work closely with external vendors to evaluate and select the best-fit solutions
-You will define data architecture and management strategies for efficient HR data processing.
-You will ensure the solution designs for integration services between HRIS & Payroll with existing systems are fit for purpose, secure and resilient.
-You will perform technical audits on existing solutions, vendor capabilities and potential new ventures.
Experience & Knowledge
-Do you have extensive experience as a Solution Architect?
-What proven experience in designing and implementing HRIS & Payroll solutions do you possess
-What is your level of experience of data architecture and management principles?
-What is your level of understanding and expertise in HR systems and processes, and how have you demonstrated this proficiency?
-Can you provide examples of your collaboration with external vendors and partners in previous projects?
-How familiar are you with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2)?
