An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Receptionist/ Outpatients Administrator to work within the Juniper Centre, Moseley Hall Hospital site.
Our Staff provide assessment, specialist support, treatment and care planning for service users with both functional and organic mental health problems.
As Receptionist/ Outpatients Administrator you will be the first point of contact for patients/staff and visitors to the building and it is essential that you present in a friendly and approachable manner.
We are looking to recruit a confident and dynamic person to greet patients and provide an effective and efficient clerical, administrative and reception service to patients/staff and visitors to the service. Recording and booking out-patient appointments and monitoring attendance is part of the role and this will involve the use of electronic systems.
The reception is open 5 days a week, between the hours of 8am-6pm. The appointee would need to cover a shift pattern working along side colleagues to ensure the service needs are met.
We are looking for someone with an outgoing and enthusiastic personality, flexibility to meet the needs of the organisation, they need to be IT literate and have a desire to grow and succeed within the organisational structure.
The post holder will undertake a wide range of reception and administrative duties. These will include the monitoring, recording and booking of appointments and managing a busy telephone line, the receiving of all incoming mail and ensuring action is taken appropriately, processing clinical letters and other correspondence.
You will work in conjunction with other team members. This will include liaison with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals, GP’s, social workers, service users, and other appropriate agencies.
It is essential that applicants are able to work on their own initiative, demonstrate effective organisational and administrative skills.
Ambassadors for the trust being on front desk doing face to face contacts facilitating the meet and greet of people upon them entering the building, dealing with all enquires appropriately. Signposting telephone calls to relevant departments. Issuing out keys, fobs, and alarms. Over seeing the day to day running from a reception perspective i.e. maintain supplies of booklets, preparing posters and display boards, actioning email requests to facilitate the requirement contained within it for both reception and outpatients.
