Accountable for own actions in accordance with Code of Professional Conduct. Will contribute towards corporate objectives, acting within local, Trust and statutory guidelines and policies, at all times. Developed communication skills enabling maintenance of high-quality service and ensuring timely management and resolution of unexpected events and situations. Ability to communicate with all members of the multi-professional teams locally such as Healthy Lifestyles Coventry, GP practices, Hospital and Community Teams and the West Midlands Cancer Alliance. A knowledgeable team member, supporting staff, service, and policy development within a defined area/specialty. Participating in providing training of identified staff groups within defined areas (where required). Inputting data and being involved in audit and/or information collection. Utilise and ensure others utilise IT systems to secure accurate and timely patient, workforce, and resource data available. Promote and monitor adherence to Health and Safety and Trust policy designed to protect healthcare staff and service users from known hazards. To undertake and promote practice sensitive to the needs of patients and families from multicultural backgrounds. Attend Screening Review meetings where TLHC patients will be discussed and contribute to and support the work of colleagues in the Multi-Disciplinary Team. Clinical Duties / Responsibilities Complete required TLHC standard training packages including IRMER training and mandatory TLHC training. You will also have an opportunity to complete ARTP -Spirometry Training and work alongside colleagues in the respiratory diagnostic team to develop & maintain competency. Provide specialist nursing advice and informing patient of results from diagnostic tests. Undertake comprehensive health and risk assessments.
