About the role
The successful candidate will work with a team of energetic and supportive staff who work together to ensure that students have the very best opportunities possible. As a teacher of Hair & Beauty Therapy subjects, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering lessons which are engaging, informative and challenging. The successful candidate will also track and monitor each group to ensure achievement of their qualifications. It is essential that they are a team player and have sound skills & knowledge of both the subject area and teaching and learning strategies.
About the person
Candidates must hold a minimum of a relevant Level 3 qualification in curriculum area subject and would ideally hold a teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS/PGCE/Cert Ed). Candidates should also have experience teaching in a school, college or equivalent within this subject area.
Candidates should possess knowledge of a range of hair and beauty qualifications and awarding bodies, have the ability to implement initiatives and other developments relevant to the curriculum area. You should also have industry experience and be an expert in the field of Hair & Beauty Therapy.
