What skills and experience we're looking for

Lisle Marsden CE Primary Academy wishes to appoint a highly motivated member of staff to join our hard working teaching team from 1st September 2025 on a maternity cover contract. The post, which is in Key Stage 2 and is likely to be for a period of 1 year would suit ECT’s or teachers toward the beginning of their teaching career.

Our Church of England Academy is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Enhanced Disclosure Certificate, references, a prohibition check and online checks for successful applicants. Stringent Checks and Vetting Procedures apply to all posts as part of our Safeguarding Policy.

Please note that you must also inform us of any unspent conviction, cautions, reprimands or warnings under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975.

This is a full time position, between M1 – M3 pay scales.
