Team Manager - Alcohol Recovery - Covering South Essex, Basildon & Billericay

Full-time, Permanent

£27,000 per annum



We are recruiting a full time Community Team Manager to join our Essex Alcohol Recovery Community service (ARC) . The role is Monday to Friday, 9 to 5. You will lead a team that delivers an alcohol recovery service to individuals across the community.

The Role
As the Community Team Manager, you will cover the South of the county (mainly Basildon, Billericay & SwanMead) and will collaborate and get support from your counterpart Team Managers (covering the other three areas of the County) as well as the ARC Service Manager. You will supervise staff in order to maintain a high standard for our service users, ensuring that any concerns relating to safeguarding and risk are appropriately managed as well as ensuring that adequate data is collected and reported on. You will represent the service across the county and will build excellent working relationships with our many partners.

About You
To join us as Team Manager at Essex ARC , you will need:

Experience of the substance misuse sector or related field (2 years +)
Experience of line managing others (staff, sessional staff or volunteers)
Confidence in building relationships with other professionals (health providers, the police, youth services, mental health & substance misuse organisations) and to maintain the excellent reputation of Phoenix Futures.
The ability to be innovative and flexible in order to meet the needs of the service

Starting salary of £27,000, with opportunity to access potential yearly salary increments subject to appraisal, meaning potential salary increase up to £31,750.
