An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Queen Square patient services for a senior Assistant Technical Officer (Band 3).

We are looking for an enthusiastic and well-motivated individual to assist the lead clinical pharmacy technician and the pharmacy operations manager with the provision of pharmacy services to patients and staff at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery

Key responsibilities :
• Provide an enhanced pharmaceutical ward stock management service.
• Develop and introduce systems to enhance the safe, efficient, and timely provision of medicines management in conjunction with their clinical pharmacists.
• To review patients, own drugs and access their suitability for re-use against the pharmacy departments standardised criteria.
• Facilitate the dispensary process for discharges, when necessary, to support the achievement of Trust and Department targets.
• To support the pharmacy dispensary in key operational tasks such as dispensing and posting.
