Job title: Personal Assistant
Hours of work: 9 hours, flexible over three days (Not Monday or Tuesday)
Hourly rate: £15
A self-employed, female personal assistant is required, in the Helston area, for a lady who seeks a caring and patient person to support her whilst keeping her independence. She is living with dementia and so an understanding of this condition is essential.
Support required:
· Meal supervision and/or preparation
· Access to community
· Companionship
· Light household duties
Hours per week: 9 hours over 2/3 days – days and times to be discussed further at the interview stage, but will not be Mondays or Tuesdays
Essential requirements:
· Full driving licence
· HMRC proof of self-employment
· Personal carer insurance
· Business use car insurance
· Experience supporting people with dementia
· Current DBS
- References related to recent clients
Candidates must possess good communication skills, have a positive attitude and be prepared to work flexibly.
Confirmation of the position is dependent on suitable references, and a clear DBS check.
