Supervise and maintain high standards of patient care by demonstrating and understanding of the NMC/HPCP conduct & local codes of practice Ensure that Trust/Theatre policies, procedures and Health & Safety legislation are adhered to. Train and supervise students within the department including agency, bank, newly qualified and new members of staff. Develop knowledge surrounding the side effects of anaesthesia/surgery with patients who on occasions exhibit disorientation/confused status Ie. Physical/verbal aggression.
