A Vacancy at Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust.


Part of the Integrated Sexual Health Services team within the Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust, the sexual health promotion team provide sexual health education, outreach, and services within Derby city and Derbyshire with an aim to prevent harm and promote positive sexual health and wellbeing for all.

We work alongside specialist sexual health nurses, doctors, and wider professional networks to reduce the transmission of STIs, HIV and unplanned pregnancy.

We are looking for a Sexual Health Promotion Operational Lead to join our team.

The main duties of the role will be:
• To provide operational leadership and management of the Sexual Health Promotion Team within Integrated Sexual Health Services, DCHS.
• Lead on the operational design, planning, development and implementation of the sexual health promotion service in order to meet contractual and corporate requirements.
• Engage and negotiate with partner organisations to ensure a quality service is available to meet the demands of the target population.
• Embrace a culture of continuous service improvement by providing operational leadership in response to service needs and community led insight and feedback.
