About the Role
Base Location: Reading, Havant, Perth, Glasgow, Aberdeen or Inverness
Salary: £47,600 - £71,600 + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available
As Portfolio Vendor and Supplier Manager, your role focusses on driving and ensuring efficient delivery of value through effective vendor and supplier management.
Key responsibilities for this role will include:
- Mastering vendor and supplier management to achieve best value, using strategic insights to strengthen partnerships.
- Monitoring and setting performance metrics to maintain delivery standards.
- Coordinating supplier requirements across various portfolios to ensure economic efficiency.
- Collaborating with different units like procurement to establish suitable contractual relationships, supporting both Agile and transitional delivery models.
- Fostering long-term supplier relationships throughout contract lifespans, ensuring alignment with company goals.
What do I need
Bring your expertise and join us in shaping the future of energy delivery through strategic portfolio management:
- Proven experience in Vendor and/or 3rd Party Management with the ability to strategize and manage supplier relationships for optimal performance.
- Experience of Agile project management methodologies and delivery lifecycle.
- Demonstrated skill in contract management, negotiation, and developing strategic partnerships.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks across a high-pressured environment.
- Excellent influencing and negotiation skills with hands on experience of influencing senior stakeholders and managers.
