An exciting opportunity is available for a Portfolio Communications and Engagement Manager to become part of an emerging team amidst a rapid transformation period, offering the chance to shape methods and guide our future practices. About the Role

Base Location: Havant, Reading, Glasgow, Perth, Aberdeen or Inverness

Salary: £40,600 - £61,000 + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

As the Portfolio Communications and Engagement Manager, you'll be responsible for raising the profile of our strategies, successes, and the essential contributions of the IT, OT, Data and Cyber Teams within Technology, Digital and Data (TD&D). This role is also responsible for bringing visibility to TD&D Leadership of the challenges, opportunities and thinking in the wider organisation.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

- Develop and execute TD&D communication and engagement strategies, aiming to showcase the function's value and increase stakeholder support.

- Optimise communication channels to engage diverse audiences effectively.

- Create impactful digital content and manage online events to boost operational and organizational objectives.

- Monitor and enhance perceptions of TD&D's value and performance through targeted communication plans.

- Champion innovative communication tactics and uphold high standards across all platforms, including social media and during urgent communications.

What do I need?

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Experience of IT, OT, Data and Cyber delivery in the context of large organisations.

- Highly developed skills in writing, editorial and content creation.

- Proven ability to manage complex multi-platform communication strategies tailored to diverse audience needs.

- Robust experience in strategic planning and clear understanding of communication principles.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills and developing effective communications approaches that deliver strong stakeholder and customer satisfaction.
