KPI Recruiting are looking for 3.5T Van drivers to join our client based in Edinburgh! They are looking for ongoing drivers to join their team of professional van drivers.
As a 3.5T Van Driver you will be working 5 out of 6 days a week, with a start time of 06:00.
The rate of pay as a 3.5T Van Driver is:
• £11.50- £12.50 p/h
The ideal candidate for a 3.5T Van Driver will need the following:
• All up to date licence
• No more than 6 points
• No previous licence suspensions
• A good knowledge of the roads
• Able to drive a 3.5 Ton Van
As a 3.5T Van Driver you will need to:
• Ensure you complete daily vehicle checks to make sure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe to use
• Ensure you arrive at your job on time, informing the traffic office of any issues
• Follow all company procedures, customer procedures and the Highway Code
• Maintain all health and safety standards
• Complete all deliveries and collections as manifested
• Ensure your vehicle is kept clean and tidy
From loading up, fuelling and checking the van for the next route, or giving a customer a call so they know what time their shopping will arrive, everything we do is with our customers in mind. Join our growing delivery team.You're in the driving seat, spending your day greeting our customers and delivering their shopping on-time.
When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic - we'll give you all the training you need) and when are really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
