We are looking to recruit a dynamic Rehabilitation Support Worker to work with our client, a gentleman in his 60s, who is based near Bedford.
The role will involve working with our client both in the home and in the wider community, to optimise his independence and confidence.
The role will be to support with activities of daily living, including gardening, shopping, attending local social events, assisting with domestic tasks, and accessing medical appointments.
A confident driver who is willing to drive on motorways is required. If you are new to care work but can demonstrate a genuine caring profile with the ability to learn and support the implementation of the clients’ therapy programmes, you will be considered.
Working hours: 25 hours per week.
Our client seeks someone who is well organised and flexible.
Rates of pay: £15.00 per hour.
An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable. Otherwise, the applicant must be willing to undertake Care Certificate training.
All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is essential.
