Summary

Rockingham Primary School is recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join our wonderful team in June 2024. This role could be your next career opportunity.

Undertake reception duties, act as first point of contact in response to and deal with enquiries either by telephone or face-to-face and sign in visitors, deal with lost property etc.
Maintain manual and computer records and management information systems.
First point of contact for sick pupils, liaise with parents / carers /staff
Assist with arrangements for academy visits and events
Maintain stocks and supplies, selling and distributing as required
This is a permanent, term time role.

Who we are looking for
Please also read the attached person specification

5 GCSE at C grade or above including Maths and English (or equivalent knowledge and experience)
Knowledge of procedures for a range of administrative activities including knowledge of various IT packages
Perform reception duties including dealing with visitors as required using courtesy and tact
Be able to work under pressure and prioritise your own workload
Proven organisational and time management skills
