Educational Explore creative approaches to professional development in order to meet individual learning Provide supervision, teaching and support for individuals in the clinical Work with senior management team in r response to service need and appraisal process, identify and address staff development requirements. To pursue academic excellence in nursing, contributing to the development to the development of students, nurses and the curriculum. With nursing colleagues and multi-disciplinary team, nurture the development of an environment which supports and encourages personal and professional. Management / Leadership Responsibilities: To assist in the management of complaints in accordance with the Trusts Complaints Use leadership skills to create an environment that is safe and supportive to ensure effective teamwork and a motivated, efficient Conduct staff appraisal using constructive performance review and establish Personal Development Plans. To assist the Ward/Department Sister/Charge Nurse/Matron in ensuring all staff members attend mandatory training and updates as required. Actively assist with the identification of performance issues and initiate action, as required, in conjunction with the Ward Sister/Charge Nurse/Matron.
