Role Overview: As the PR Business Lead - Corporate, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding and elevating Co-op's reputation. Reporting directly to the Head of Group PR, you will be responsible for developing and executing annual PR plans, managing key strategic campaigns, and overseeing major announcements. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders at all levels, offering strategic PR counsel and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic PR advice and counsel to stakeholders across Co-op, including Op Board level.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and relevant PR contacts.
  • Manage planned and unplanned reputational and crisis management activities.
  • Lead significant areas of corporate PR, aligning activities with the group strategy and vision.
  • Oversee external agency relationships and output.
