A post has become available for an experienced Personal Assistant to support the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) for Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (MREH) and University Dental Hospital (UDHM). The successful candidate with ensure that the Directors have excellent administrative support to enable them to focus on management issues. The person appointed will need to be an excellent organizer and communicator and have a proactive and friendly attitude and should also have multi tasking ability and flexibility to work in an ever evolving environment, the person appointed will also need to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Duties will include:
• organization of meetings
• diary management
• organizing and preparing documents for meetings and board papers
• assisting with organizing events
• co-ordination of complaints
• supervision of staff
• provide comprehensive administration and secretarial support
• good knowledge of Microsoft Office
You will be responsible for all secretarial duties to support the Directors including management of databases and advanced level use of IT packages such as word, excel, outlook, power point and MS Teams.
• ordering and maintaining stock, use of Integra system
• managing diaries
• maintaining confidentiality
• provide a comprehensive secretarial service to Directors
• meeting planning - production of agendas, meeting papers and the transcription of minutes
• ability to work to deadlines
• flexible approach
• coordination of PALS and complaints
• organising events
