The School of Medicine wishes to appoint a Clinical Teacher to join our enthusiastic and growing MBBS teaching team based at Westlakes campus in Whitehaven, Cumbria. This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to further develop their experience of teaching and assessment in the field of clinical skills. You will work be primarily involved with the planning, delivery and assessment of clinical skills to students on the MBBS course but may also contribute to the teaching of physician associate students. You will teach clinical skills as part of the MBBS Campus Day programme, including participating in simulation based medical education, and will provide mentoring and support to students from the School of Medicine within the workplace with regard to clinical placements, and clinical skills and the assessment thereof, particularly with regard to Workplace-Based Assessments (WBAs).

Holding full registration with the NMC/GMC or equivalent you will have experience of working to professional standards. Applicants should have previous experience of the teaching and assessment of clinical skills as well as excellent time management and organizational skills.
