Junior Web Developer
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum + Company Car or Allowance
Location: Walsall
Kerry Collins Recruitment, part of the Jarell Group, are looking to recruit a Junior Web Developer to join our team based within Walsall.
We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of HTML and CSS with a view to learn PHP, specifically the Codeigniter framework and MYSQL. On the job training time will be supplied to a successful candidate in order to further their development in these languages.
The role includes updating and maintaining current systems used within the group, management of our Azure hosting platform and billing. Discussing with the different teams within the group ways to improve efficiency and streamline working procedures through new online processes from recruitment to time management.
IT support will also be required from the successful candidate, and so an in depth understanding of how a network runs and how to manage a network will also be required.
Daily Duties:
• Updating and maintaining databases.
• Liaising with the teams within the group to see how to improve day to day operations.
• Ongoing remote support however occasional visits to sites may be required.
• Management of Office 365 and Google Workspace.
• Assisting in managing of the current systems in the group including but not limited to Recruitment, HR and website admin.
• Assisting in the management of the group’s businesses online presence including social media and google my business management.
We are looking for the ideal candidate to possess:
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Understanding of HTML & CSS
• Driving Licence - some of this role will mean travelling to sites within the Group
• Great communication skills - both verbally and written
