An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a large HIV specialist nursing team as a Band 7 senior HIV specialist nurse. You will work as a nursing lead of the HIV specialist nursing team along with two other band 7 HIV specialist nurses. This post will require you to have a high degree of autonomy, manage your own clinic caseload, including nurse led clinics at satellite sites. The postholder will possess excellent communication skills and have experience in providing care for people living with HIV, including those with complex care needs as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The post holder will be expected to work across multiple settings including outpatients, inpatient wards, community and outreach services. They will be involved in all aspects of the care of people living with HIV and will work as part of a wider MDT. There are many opportunities to develop leadership skills and to contribute and lead service change.
