Title: Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) - Permanent RoleWorkchain, a UK-based recruitment agency, is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers with Counterbalance certification for our client based in Nottingham. As a leading provider of recruitment services in the Industrial industry, we are dedicated to connecting talented individuals with rewarding career opportunities.Responsibilities:- Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse or production area- Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines while operating the forklift- Inspecting the forklift and reporting any defects or malfunctions to the relevant personnel- Maintaining accurate records of material movement and inventory levels- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required, including manual handling and inventory management- Participating in team meetings and communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisorsQualifications and Skills:- Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance Forklift License is essential- At least 1-2 years of experience operating a counterbalance forklift in an industrial setting- Ability to operate the forklift safely and confidently, adhering to all health and safety regulations- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records- Good communication skills, both verbal and written- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment- Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities- Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials and perform manual handling duties.Pay Rate: £480.00 - £520.00 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)To apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at www.workchain.co.uk and complete the online application form.
