Title: Forklift Driver (Counterbalance) - Permanent Role

Workchain, a UK-based recruitment agency, is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers with Counterbalance certification for our client based in Nottingham. Responsibilities:
- Operating a counterbalance forklift to safely load, unload, move, and stack materials within the warehouse or production area
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines while operating the forklift
- Inspecting the forklift and reporting any defects or malfunctions to the relevant personnel
- Maintaining accurate records of material movement and inventory levels
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required, including manual handling and inventory management
- Participating in team meetings and communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors

Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance Forklift License is essential
- At least 1-2 years of experience operating a counterbalance forklift in an industrial setting
- Ability to operate the forklift safely and confidently, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Flexible approach to work, with the ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials and perform manual handling duties.

Pay Rate: £480.00 - £520.00 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)
