Currently, we are seeking a Forklift Driver Counterbalance for a temporary position in West Bromwich B70 location. This role offers an hourly rate of £12.00 and presents an exciting opportunity to join the Industrial industry. Starts at 0700 - 1600. You will be working for a builders merchant where there is a split role. Key Responsibilities:- Operating a forklift truck equipped to handle heavy loads safely and efficiently.- Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring accuracy in sorting and stacking to prevent damages.- Transporting materials within the warehouse or distribution center to designated areas.- Conducting regular equipment inspections and maintenance, reporting any faults or damages promptly.- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations, ensuring a secure working environment for all staff members.- Keeping accurate records of stock movements, maintaining inventory control.Qualifications:- Valid and up-to-date Forklift Driver Counterbalance license.- Previous experience operating a forklift truck in an industrial or warehouse setting.- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work diligently in a fast-paced environment.- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.- Proven ability to follow instructions and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.- Physically fit, with the ability to handle heavy loads and perform physical tasks as required.To apply for this exciting opportunity, please visit our website at workchain.co.uk and complete our online application form.
