This role is based in the Industrial industry and offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a dynamic and thriving work environment.Key Responsibilities:- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to move, stack, load, and unload materials and products within the warehouse or production facility- Conduct routine checks on the forklift to ensure it is in good working condition and report any defects or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace- Utilize hand-held scanners to track and document inventory movements and transactions- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders, assist with stock handling, and maintain an organized work area- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock checks- Assist with general warehouse duties as requiredQualifications:- Valid and in-date Counterbalance Forklift license- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift is essential- Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to locate and identify products quickly- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team- Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet- Flexible approach to work and a strong work ethic- Basic computer literacy and proficiency in using handheld scanners for inventory managementThis temporary Forklift Driver Counterbalance position offers a competitive hourly rate of £11.00 - £12.00.
