An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personnel Assistant to support an independent person who is studying at University. Looking to recruit one or two Personnel Assistants. The person lives in Lancaster term time only and attends Lancaster University. He is undertaking an undergraduate Degree and is keen to employ assistants to ensure he is fully able to partake in University Life.

The Personnel Assistant role will be primarily within Lancaster and Lancaster University campus, own car not essential.

Self-motivated and well organised. Do you have personal or professional experience of supporting others to achieve their independence?
Positive, with an upbeat attitude, with a sense of humour.
Be comfortable to work independently or as part of a small team.
Keen to learn new skills.

Looking for a caring, proactive and motivated individual, a self-starter, with good organisation skills and a positive attitude.
As a Personnel Assistant your duties will include supporting a young outgoing, gregarious and intelligent person with some aspects of daily life.
This could include providing a reassurance and support role in busy & stressful situations.
Some people in the community can misunderstand how the person needs to manage a situation.
This person may need assistance to navigate this.
