For more information please refer to the job description and person specification Responsible for the co-ordination, delivery and optimisation of clinical pharmacy oncology services at the Chelsea site, to include the provision of services 7 days a week (if required) and out of hours. To be responsible for supporting the Head of Clinical services in the operational delivery of clinical pharmacy oncology services at the Chelsea site. To lead the pharmacy team providing a clinical pharmacy oncology service at the Chelsea site, to include day to day oversight of operations, implementation of clear processes for allocating and managing the workforce and skill mix optimisation. To collaborate with the Head of Clinical Services, and Education and Training Lead to develop advanced practice and extended roles, ensuring appropriate support, training and supervision of these roles in practice To contribute to and participate in the planning, development and provision of education and training in relation to medicines as part of the pharmacy departments education and training strategy Line-manage Specialist Pharmacists within the Oncology team. To provide financial information to forecast spend and analyse trends on drug usage and expenditure to finance, budget holders, clinicians and colleagues. To identify changes in prescribing practices and new prescribing practices that may impact on the drugs budget and / or patient activity and communicate any perceived impact to the relevant teams and clinical business unit.
