Summary
Part-time Lead Speech & Language Therapist role supporting adults within specialist rehabilitation and secure services. Focus on assessment, treatment planning, and team leadership within a multidisciplinary setting.
Overview
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per year. Part-time, 22.5 hours per week. Onsite working. Fully remote working is not available.
HCPC registration required. Postgraduate qualification awarded by RCSLT required. Relevant post-registration experience within a specialist area required.
Right to Work in the UK is required.
What you’ll do
Manage and coordinate individual speech and language therapy treatment plans
Assess referrals and prioritise patient needs
Deliver interventions on an individual and group basis
Support patients with communication and swallowing difficulties, including dysphagia
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
Lead and support junior team members
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
Contribute to development of therapy practices and services
What you’ll need
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration
Postgraduate qualification recognised by RCSLT
Experience in a specialist clinical area
Experience working with dysphagia and clinical assessments
Leadership or Band 7 level experience, or readiness to step into leadership
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in supervision and reflective practice
