Crynodeb
PED is staffed entirely by paediatric nurses and medical staffing is jointly from general paediatrics and the emergency medicine teams. It is co-located with the main Emergency Department with a separate audio-visual waiting room. Our department is a 9 bedded space, including an HDU space, a mental health room, a separate isolation room and a paediatric dedicated bay in the 4 bedded resuscitation area. There is a newly appointed Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant team who is dedicated solely to the Paediatric Emergency Department. As such we are looking for an enthusiastic Paediatric Senior Clinical Fellow with expertise in all aspects of working with emergency care of children to working with the Paediatric and Emergency Team.
