Summary

Responsibilities in this rewarding role will include:
- Providing one-to-one support and assistance to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they can actively participate in all aspects of the curriculum
- Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement personalised learning plans that cater to the unique needs and strengths of each student
- Offering emotional support and guidance to students, fostering a safe and empathetic environment
- Adapting teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
- Maintaining detailed records of student progress and communication with parents/carers
- Participating in regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Relevant experience in a 1:1 teaching assistant or similar SEN support role
- A genuine passion for working with children and a deep understanding of their diverse needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the students
- A commitment to continuous learning and development, with a willingness to participate in training and implement new strategies
- A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students
