We're working with a welcoming school in Wakefield that's looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from September. This is a long-term role supporting pupils with EHCPs on a 1:1 basis, helping them feel confident, supported, and ready to learn.

You won't just be filling a role here, you'll be a key part of a child's journey.

What you'll be doing:
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with EHCPs
- Helping pupils access learning in a way that works for them
- Supporting emotional regulation and building positive routines
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO
- Creating a calm, consistent, and encouraging environment

What the school is looking for:
- Experience supporting children with SEND, in school or similar settings
- A calm, patient, and positive approach
- Confidence working 1:1 and adapting to individual needs
- Strong communication skills and a team mindset
- A genuine passion for supporting children to thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
