About the Role
Desian Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and fully qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant for a wonderful partner primary school in Knowsley.
This is a full-time, long-term position starting right after the half-term break.
You will work as part of a dynamic team to support the learning, development, and care of children in their crucial early years.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Act as a key person for a designated group of children.
Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development.
Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Support children with daily routines, including personal care and lunchtimes.
Maintain strong, positive relationships with parents and carers.
Requirements
Qualification: Must hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification that legally contributes to staff-to-child ratios.
Experience: Proven experience working in a nursery or an Early Years setting within a primary school.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding policies.
Approach: Warm, nurturing, creative, and highly energetic.
Vetting: You must hold an enhanced DBS check on the Update Service or be ready to apply for a new one through Desian Education.
