Are you seeking a fantastic new opportunity within a legal environment as a Conveyancing Assistant? Would you like to work within an award-winning, growing law firm who are passionate about making a difference to peoples’ lives? Is South Elmsall, Pontefract convenient for you? Working within the Residential Property team providing support to Fee Earners, your duties as Conveyancing Assistant will include:

• Corresponding with 3rd parties and clients
• Digital dictation (BigHand)
• Using the case management system
• Requesting Searches, AML Checks and Final Searches
• Submitting Land Registry applications and dealing with requisitions
• Document management and creation
• Handling client telephone calls, enquiries and requests
• Dealing with incoming emails and post and replying to correspondence accordingly
• Assisting with file opening and closing

You will have:

• Previous experience of conveyancing
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good keyboard skills
• Basic knowledge of legal letters
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to self-manage and prioritise workload
• Commitment to ethos, values and strategy of the firm

This role permanent and the hours of work are 09:00 until 17:00 Monday to Friday, with option to work hybrid - 3 days working in the office and x 2 days at home if preferred.
