We are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our Property Services team. You will carry out a variety of electrical tasks, including testing and inspection, responsive repairs, void works, and planned maintenance. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, can prioritise their workload effectively, and is committed to delivering high‑quality service to customers.

As part of our commitment to providing a reliable service, you will also be required to participate in the departmental standby/on‑call rota.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake electrical duties including testing and inspecting, fault finding, repairs, void property work, and planned maintenance.
Plan and manage your own workload, ensuring priorities are met and jobs are completed to a high standard.
Work independently and use your initiative when addressing minor issues or unexpected challenges on site.
Maintain effective communication with your line manager, administration team, and clients, ensuring any concerns or updates are reported promptly.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with relevant regulations and company procedures.
Participate in the Property Services standby/on‑call arrangements.
About You

Essential:

Qualified Electrician with recognised electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition).
Experience in domestic electrical work, testing, inspection, and repairs.
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:

Experience working in social housing, property maintenance, or similar environments.
Testing & Inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent).
