We are seeking to appoint a confident, enthusiastic and ambitious KS2 class teacher to join our team from September 2026. We are a welcoming and aspirational school serving a wonderful community, and we would be particularly keen to hear from candidates who:
• Are highly effective classroom practitioners, with a proven ability to secure strong progress and positive outcomes for all pupils
• Demonstrate a proactive and collaborative approach, contributing positively to year group teams and taking on appropriate roles and responsibilities
• Build strong, purposeful relationships with parents and carers and value partnership working with the wider community
• Are passionate about curriculum design and delivery, and keen to play an active role in shaping an ambitious, engaging and inclusive curriculum
• Are committed to inclusion and equity, with a clear understanding of how to support pupils with diverse needs so that every child can succeed
• Take responsibility for their own professional learning and development, showing reflection, resilience and a desire to continually improve practice
• Are enthusiastic about supporting pupils’ personal development through high-quality enrichment opportunities and contributing to the wider life of the school
What the school offers its staff
In return, we can offer:

• Collaborative year group teams that provide high-quality professional support and share best practice
• The opportunity to work alongside an experienced, skilled and innovative SEND and pastoral support team
• An ambitious and creative approach to curriculum design, with scope for staff to contribute ideas and shape practice
• High-quality CPD and clear opportunities for future career development and progression
• A strong focus on staff wellbeing, including support to achieve a healthy work–life balance and entitlement to an annual ‘wellbeing day’
• An open, approachable and supportive Senior Leadership Team that prioritises the wellbeing of both staff and pupils
• Opportunities for future employment and progression within the school
Commitment to safeguarding
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults, and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This role requires a DBS disclosure and online checks may be carried out.
