Are you looking for an opportunity to make a life-changing impact in your community? Do you have the skills, experience and passion to support individuals with mental health needs to access and sustain employment?
The role will involve working directly with primary care network teams, Talking Therapies, Care Co-ordinators, Jobcentre Plus, employers, trade unions, and employment agencies to keep people in employment and secure employment opportunities. You will work closely with practitioners in Thurrock Community Mental Health teams, Recovery College and other specialist services providing support in Thurrock.
If you have experience of providing vocational and employment support, alongside careers advice/job retention/employability training and a passion to remove barriers, build confidence and create opportunities for meaningful employment in an individuals recovery journey, we want to hear from you….!
This is an exciting partnership between NHS providers and local voluntary sector, keen to make a real difference to the vocational outcomes of people accessing our services.

Salary: £31,049 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (the post holder will be expected to work flexibly to meet service need i.e. some evenings and very occasional Saturdays)
Annual Leave: 35 days inclusive of bank holidays
Location: Thurrock/South West Essex, according to service need
