In this role, you will be responsible for installing and repairing structures and fixtures in various settings.Key Responsibilities:- Reading and interpreting blueprints to understand project requirements- Taking accurate measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing materials using hand and power tools- Assembling and installing structures, fixtures, and furniture- Inspecting and replacing damaged framework or other structures- Ensuring work is completed in a timely manner and to high standards- Collaborating with other construction workers to ensure projects are completed efficientlyQualifications:- Proven experience as a Carpenter- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods- Proficient with hand and power tools- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Good physical condition and staminaThis is a day shift position, offering a competitive pay rate of £14 per hour.
