Bar Team Member
As a Bar Team Member, you’ll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences, greeting every guest with a warm welcome and delivering great service at every opportunity.
We’re looking for experienced bartenders and baristas who know how to handle a busy bar with confidence, pace, and a bit of flair. If you can keep your cool, stay organised, and “dance” behind the bar when it gets hectic, you’ll fit right in.

Where You’ll Be Working
Urban Reef is a contemporary Bournemouth seaside bar and restaurant located next to the beach on Boscombe Promenade. It is a stylish two-storey venue comprising a bar, café, deli and restaurant and boasts stunning panoramic views of Bournemouth Bay from the Isle of Wight to the Purbecks and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver a warm, genuine welcome to every guest, even during the busiest moments.
- Work efficiently behind a high-volume bar, serving drinks quickly, accurately, and with confidence.
- Stay one step ahead, anticipating guest needs and keeping service flowing smoothly.
- Keep the bar clean, organised, and fully stocked at all times, especially during peak periods.
- Communicate clearly with the team and be a strong team player, helping to manage queues and maintain a smooth service flow.
- Bring energy and resilience to service, staying calm under pressure and “dancing” behind the bar when it gets busy.
- Maintain high standards of service, hygiene, and presentation throughout your shift.
