Our client in Oxfordshire, a leading aerospace organisation, is hiring for a reputable company to oversee their UK engineering apprenticeship programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of aerospace talent, working across multiple sites to develop a skilled, diverse workforce.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead the full lifecycle of apprenticeships for Engineering and Business Support functions, ensuring programmes meet industry standards and optimise the Apprenticeship Levy.
* Act as the main liaison with external training providers, colleges, and funding agencies, maintaining strong relationships to deliver high-quality training.
* Monitor apprentice progress through regular reviews, ensuring academic and operational milestones are achieved.
* Design and implement school outreach initiatives to inspire STEM careers and manage work experience programmes.
* Support the Leadership Academy by identifying high-potential talent and developing management modules aligned with global standards.
* Manage the delivery of leadership and management programmes, ensuring a steady pipeline of future leaders.
* Ensure compliance with UK government standards and internal benchmarks.
* Drive long-term workforce growth through proactive outreach, elite leadership training, and talent mapping.
What you'll bring:
* A 'coach mindset' with high emotional intelligence to inspire learners and leaders alike.
* Strong strategic vision to anticipate skills gaps and plan workforce development.
* Excellent project management skills to handle multiple programmes simultaneously.
* Proven experience in apprenticeship management, early careers, outreach, or corporate L&D.
* Experience in updating training materials reflecting latest aerospace technologies.
* Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
Preferred:
* Qualifications in aviation training, leadership development, or teaching (e.g., PTTLS).
* Experience delivering aviation-specific training such as Human Factors or Part-147 sessions.
