Crynodeb
The post holder will be based in the Head & Neck Unit (Medical Oncology) under the supervision of Prof Chris Nutting, Research Lead for the Head & Neck Unit. The post is cross site at the Sutton site and Chelsea sites of the Royal Marsden. The consultants on the team are Prof Kevin Harrington, Dr Shree Bhide, Dr Kate Newbold, Dr Kee Wong and Dr Ben O’Leary. In order to fulfil the responsibilities of this post, the appointee will be required to demonstrate that they have experience in the medical oncological management of Head & Neck cancers.
The post-holder will develop his/her own area of expertise during the tenure of the post. The tenure of the post is expected to be for 12 months with a view to extend for a further 12-24 months. In order to maintain clinical experience, post-holder will be expected to attend out-patient clinics but will have no routine in-patient or on call duties.
