Hourly Paid (0.4) Fixed term (1 year)£18.23 - £35.89 per hour Cross CampusKey Responsibilities:Maintain and monitor data relating to learner retention, completion and attainment for relevant courses, against College targets and national benchmarks.Support, advise and guide students, making appropriate referrals where necessary to ensure that full pastoral needs are met.Actively contribute to the course review process / development and implementation of actions leading to continuous improvement.Provide extra support to learners through revision sessions or study support as required. About you:The successful candidate will be a professional team player with the ability to identify and develop a learners’ potential and appreciate the challenges of an FE teaching environment. You will develop and employ a variety of teaching and learning strategies, including the effective use of ILT, to ensure excellence and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment.As a clear and confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students and to create a positive learning environment leading to an outstanding learner experience. You will also be required to undertake a personal tutor role for one or more groups of learners.You will be qualified to degree level with solid experience of working in a relevant role and be qualified to teach levels 1-5.
