Select are please to be representing a market-leading client, who are seeking a high-energy, commercially-minded Sales Account Manager.
This isn't just a maintenance role; it’s a position designed for someone who thrives on winning new business just as much as they enjoy cementing long-term client partnerships.
The Role
• Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring high levels of customer service
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory
• Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
• Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, pricing, and presentations
• Meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining strong profit margins
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to support growth strategies
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, pipeline, and forecasts via CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to support customer needs and onboarding
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events where required
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven Track Record: You have a background in account management or sales with a history of smashing targets.
• Technical Edge: Experience in electrical, component-led, manufacturing, or technical sales is a major plus, but not essential.
• Relationship Experts: You possess the natural ability to connect with people and turn conversations into contracts.
• Commercial Acumen: You don’t just see clients; you see growth opportunities.
• Master Negotiator: You are confident when it comes to presenting, negotiating, and closing complex deals.
• Self-Starters: Highly organised and motivated to manage your own desk and workload effectively.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems (Salesforce experience advantageous)
