Crynodeb
Supports the work of the dietitians in a range of in-patient acute settings within UHNM across the dietetic team. This may include reviewing established patients who are under the care of the dietitian receiving nutrition support in the form of food fortification, special diets and nutritional supplements. Assists in the triaging of referrals and supports with gathering information from referring wards to support dietetic interventions. Collates information on nutrition topics as requested by dietitians. This may include areas such as nutrition screening, meal time audits, weighed food intakes and observational studies. Ensures the completion of nutrition assessment charts for patients highlighted. Analyse data using dietary analysis software. Participate in meal observations to support the Care Excellence Framework. To liaise with ward and catering team to secure the best nutritional outcome for patients under the care of the dietitian.
