Summary

Short Description:

This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated HR Apprentice with strong organisation and analytical skills, to make a difference in improving & managing day to day HR processes and procedures across the employee lifecycle.

Full Description: PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Support the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring HR data is complete and compliant with employment legislation and internal policies. This includes maintaining employee files and updating personal and employment information.
· Assist with the administration and upkeep of the holiday management system, ensuring organisational structures, employee details, and working patterns are accurately reflected at all times.
· Support the creation of reports from HR systems (including the HR database and holiday system) to provide meaningful management information as required.
· Provide general administrative support to the HR team across a range of HR activities and processes.
· Support with recruitment processes, including coordinating interviews and supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
· Promote and communicate employee benefits, supporting colleagues in understanding available offerings.
· Assist in the preparation and delivery of accurate, timely, and relevant HR management information in line with business requirements.
· Respond to telephone, email, and written enquiries in a professional, timely, and customer focused manner, escalating queries where appropriate.
· Handle HR information with a high level of confidentiality, ensuring compliance with GDPR and always maintaining impartiality.
NB: No job description can be entirely comprehensive, and the jobholder will be expected to carry out such other duties as may be required from time to time and are broadly consistent with the job description and status of the post within the organisation.

Future Prospects: Fixed Term contract until end of apprenticeship.

All job roles are advertised internally, and upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, the apprentice will be eligible to apply for a suitable position within the company.

Employer Description: We are TDS. We were established in 2003 to operate tenancy deposit schemes across the UK and to provide dispute resolution services in relation to tenancy deposits. We now operate tenancy deposit schemes in England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland from our head office in Hemel Hempstead and our other offices in Glasgow and Belfast. In 2022 we also launched the New Homes Ombudsman Service. We are collaborative and forward-thinking with our colleagues and customers at the heart of everything we do. With our proven success, it is necessary to expand our team to ensure the services we offer continue to make a difference.

Training Provided: BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.

Job Knowledge and Understanding
· Basic understanding of Human Resources or a strong interest in pursuing a career in HR

· Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders

Qualifications Required:
• Educated to A-level or BTEC level 3 standard
• Willingness to undertake a Level 3 HR Apprenticeship with Chartered institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
