A Vacancy at East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our Community Paediatrics team at Colchester. The role will support clinics running at the Primary Care Centre in Colchester, Clacton hospital, Halstead and Harwich hospital.
You will be offered opportunities to develop both clinically and professionally within a supportive environment and encouraged to participate in service developments. Clinical supervision and a supported induction period are provided.
The successful candidate must be a car driver.
Please note that proven care experience and/or a Care Certificate (or equivalent) is essential to be suitable for a Band 3 HCSW post

You will meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
You will also meet the needs of the Trust with regards to Induction, mandatory and statutory training.
You will be expected to ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
Provide support for our patients with dementia and delirium.
You'll work as an effective member of the nursing and wider multi-professional healthcare team.
You will work within the boundaries of the role of the Healthcare Support Worker and refer to the Registered Nurse as appropriate.
