We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established builders merchants based in Aldershot, for an experienced HGV 2 HIAB Driver to provide holiday cover.
This is a great opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for flexible, ongoing work, with 2-3 days per month available and the potential for regular monthly shifts.
The Role:
- Working as an HGV 2 HIAB Driver completing deliveries to both local and long-distance locations
- Typically carrying out 3 delivery rounds per shift
- Operating HIAB equipment safely and efficiently using ATLAS cranes and joystick controls
- Delivering building materials to trade and residential sites
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner
Shift Details:
- Hours: 07:00 - 16:30
- Pay Rate: £17.50 per hour
- Weekly pay
- No weekends
- Ongoing opportunity for monthly work
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- UK Driving licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- ALLMI licence (essential)
- Proven experience as an HGV 2 HIAB Driver
- Experience operating ATLAS cranes and joystick systems
- Strong understanding of health & safety procedures
