Administration Officer Role - Birmingham (B4 6BS)

Pay: £13.86 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (37 hours per week) however some flexibility may be required
Contract: Temporary for three months (with potential for extension)
Working pattern: Fully onsite initially during training, then hybrid working three days in the office and two from home

We are currently recruiting for an Administrative Officer to work for our Public Sector client, in their Monetary Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in supporting the operational delivery of a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Our client's Monetary Team are responsible for processing all payments out of the ISA on behalf of Insolvency Practitioners. Your main responsibilities will be as follows

  • Inputting payments
  • Approving payments
  • Helping with payment queries
  • Sending out remittances
  • Printing cheques
  • General administration support, including updating spreadsheets, photocopying, filing and email management

About You

  • Previous experience within finance or a financial processing role
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically a strong working knowledge of Excel

Please note - Full training will be given, and this role will require a DBS and three years referencing.
