About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Support Worker to join a well-established care home in Brooke, Norfolk.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role within the care team, supporting residents with their daily needs while promoting dignity, independence, and person-centred care. You will also take on leadership responsibilities, including conducting supervisions and appraisals, contributing to care planning, and mentoring support staff.
Reporting to: Home Manager / Deputy Manager / Nurse

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents
• Support and supervise care staff on shift
• Conduct staff supervisions and participate in appraisals
• Contribute to care plans and risk assessments
• Promote independence, dignity, and wellbeing of residents
• Ensure effective communication within the team

Skills & Experience
• Previous experience in a senior care or support role
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
• A team-focused approach
• A compassionate and empathetic nature

Qualifications
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards)
________________________________________
